FRUITFUL ARMENIA presents its fifth annual project.

FRUITFUL ARMENIA presents its fifth annual project. This year we have planned a competition - THE 5^th FRUITFUL ARMENIA CONTEST - with purpose of promoting and supporting presentation of innovative ideas and disclosing young Armenian talents all round the world. This initiative is to assist in the development and enhancement of Agriculture and Agricultural Industry, Trade and Marketing, Finances and Substructure in the Republic of Armenia.

In order to discover the TALENTS OF FRUITFUL ARMENIA we are looking for young Armenians, representing various fields, who are willing to express and display their expectations, knowledge and skills, particularly in breakthrough projects relating to one of the listed fields through implementing new methods, ideas and layouts specially developed for the Republic of Armenia.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS AND TERMS OF THE CONTEST

PARTICIPANTS

In the THE 5^th FRUITFUL ARMENIA CONTEST may take part young men of 18-30, with knowledge of Armenian and English languages, who was born in the Republic of Armenia or are affiliated with the Armenian community in blood as well as all young Armenians willing to participate in the contest.

Participation is free for all participants, but they are required to get registered beforehand.

Participation of persons directly or indirectly employed by "Fruitful Armenia" Organization. "Converse Bank" CJSC, "Armenia International Airports" CJSC and "ADF" CJSC as well as entities working in companies somehow or other affiliated with the latter, is prohibited.

REGISTRATION

Persons, who meet with the precedent requirements of the competition must fill in the questionnaire at URL www.fafarmenia.org and get registered. 

Registration deadline is August 31, 2009.

CONTEST    

The participant,

On basis of the book "Fruitful Armenia. The Proposal", which was published in 2008, also available at www.fafarmenia.org,
by pressing the key  "The proposal" (in English)
or the key "The Proposal (Armenian)" (in Armenian),
publication - in pdf format 

must submit his/her original, innovative and unpublished work in written form concerning one of the following fields:

1. Agriculture and Agricultural Industry
2. Trade and Marketing
3. Finances
4. Substructure

and in the summary give a certain feasible and practicable proposal targeted to development of agriculture, trade and marketing and other related fields in the Republic of Armenia.  

The work must be presented in two written copies in Armenian and English languages. The participant must accurately communicate and speak in two languages and possess written skills of at least one of them.   

The Work and the Technical Sheet must be sent to Fruitful Armenia as follows:

1. via internet emailing to [email protected] till August 31, 2009, 23:30 (time of Armenia)
   
   or
   
2. by hand, in printed version and bring one copy on CD to the address: "Armenia International Airports" CJSC, International Airport "Zvartnots", Yerevan, RA.

THE 5^th FRUITFUL ARMENIA CONTEST advises the participants to concern in their works one, some or all fields supra, proposing ways for development of:

- Reduction of cost prices and/or market prices
- Consolidation of new productive or industrial options
- Development of corresponding technologies for improvement of traditional production ways
- Processing of vertical conjunction (upgrading quality of priority goods)
- Processing of horizontal conjunction (search for suitable plants for the manufacturers)
- Consolidation of innovative technologies
- Association with the environment
- A reasonable project in compliance with the quality of innovative ideas - little efforts, more profits, i.e. an operative, workable and practicable project with real outputs.

FRUITFUL ARMENIA PRIZES

The winner of the Golden Prize of Fruitful Armenia will be granted the following prizes and awards:

• 3.000.000 Armenian drams
• Transportation of the Awardee for participation in the Fruitful Armenia Awards in Yerevan,
• Cognitive visit of the winner to one of places, wherein Fruitful Armenia/Corporation America carry out activities,
• Notebook
• Publication of the work.

The Winner of the Golden Prize of Fruitful Armenia cannot be awarded with the First Prize of Fruitful or take other grants.  

For each work, submitted in the field of:

1. Agriculture and Agricultural Industry
2. Trade and marketing
3. Finances
4. Substructure

Will be granted the following prizes and awards:

• The First Prize Fruitful Armenia, the winner will be granted with:
  - 750.000 Armenian drams
  - Transportation of the Awardee for participation in the Fruitful Armenia Awards in Yerevan,
  - Cognitive visit of the winner to one of places, wherein Fruitful Armenia/Corporation America carry out activities,
  - Notebook
  - Publication of the work.
   
• The Second Prize Fruitful Armenia, the winner will be granted with:
  - 300.000 Armenian drams
  - Transportation of the Awardee for participation in the Fruitful Armenia Awards in Yerevan,
  - Cognitive visit of the winner to one of places, wherein Fruitful Armenia/Corporation America carry out activities,
  - Notebook
  - Publication of the work.

• The Third Prize Fruitful Armenia, the winner will be granted with:
  - Transportation of the Awardee for participation in the Fruitful Armenia Awards in Yerevan,
  - Cognitive visit of the winner to one of places, wherein Fruitful Armenia/Corporation America carry out activities (the place will be selected at discretion of Fruitful Armenia Company)
  - Notebook
  - Publication of the work
  
  Other awards:
   
• Encouragement Prize of Fruitful Armenia, the winner will be granted with:
  - Transportation of the Awardee for participation in the Fruitful Armenia Awards in Yerevan,
  - Publication of the work
  
  and
  
• The Second Encouragement Prize of Fruitful Armenia, the winner will be granted with:
  - Transportation of the Awardee for participation in the Fruitful Armenia Awards in Yerevan,
  - Publication of the work.

All Awardees will take part in the FRUITFUL ARMENIA AWARDS to be held in Yerevan. The provisional date of AWARDS is specified as October 15, 2009, but the exact date will be fixed later on.
