The opening ceremony of the 5.2 MW solar station took place in Zedea community, Vayots Dzor. The project had been financed by Converse Bank.

VAYOTS AREV-1, the solar PV plant built by Clean Energy LLC, is the largest station connected to the electric network in Armenia. The plant is expected to generate 10,000,000 kWh of electricity per year.

Importantly, this is another successful project financed by Converse Bank CJSC in the renewable energy – solar energy sector. Converse Bank was the first bank in Armenia to launch a similar program, by financing the construction of TALIN-1, the first solar station in the country.
